I think it’s perfectly idoneous that we strove to be pioneers. After all, most are now aiming to be doyennes in their respective career paths in more ways than one. It may have taken some time, we may have been quiet the first few years, but  us girls were taught to listen, to learn, to skip the perorations and to under-promise and over-deliver.
